They say much the same thing in Australia.

"There's no point in building roads because they just generate more traffic and make the problem worse".

That's why Australia has invested so much tax money in their public transit system -- but they build roads as well.

When New Zealand raises their tax rates up to Australian standards, New Zealand could spend money to improve Aukland's subway system . . .

. . . oh, that's right, New Zealand doesn't have a subway system.

But then again people in New Zealand don't need transportation, because I hear they travel via dancing cell phone pixelations.
