Clinton never allowed us to be attacked. Clinton had a Al Qaida CT team in the WH 24/7 and his people stopped the Milennium LAX bombing by being alert. Bush disbanded the Al Qaida team and did absolutely nothing when warned about Al Qaida hijackings on 8-6-01. The only attack on US soil came on Bush's watch, after he was warned. The only attack during Clinton's years was by a rightwing American named McVeigh. Bush also did nothing to avenge the USS Cole attack which happened very late in the Clinton 2nd term and became Bush's job. CLinton retaliated for the African bombings with a huge Cruise missile barrage of all known Al Qaida hide-outs, which the rightwingers denounced him fore, accusing Clinton of trying to change the subject from Monica Lewinsky to terrorism. Then there are all the close Bush-Saudi ties to consider.
