Hi Bobby: I haven't looke BMG up , but I did glance atr som of my
old prices and I can see were she was as low as 7.5 on july 15,
had I bought it back then I'd be taking my profits at about 9
and wouldn't buy back untill she diped again to 8..but thats the
way I am, and if she didn't dip I find me another stock..
I have this thing about buying a stock cheaper than I sold it..
or moving on..
-----------------
have you noticed that most all stocks that move do so , before the
news good or bad breaks to the public..well they do..if u see one
that only moves after the news, consider the news in error, like it's
Spam, or a Spin..the real news is always leaked , don't matter how
much a Co would like to plug the leaks, it allways happens and the
stock moves, there are exceptions like stuff of the Value jet crash,
nature..but it's easy to tell what news they have no control over.
---------------------------------
Can't remember offhand which Co. need some extra cash, sold a large
number of it's own holdings, then came out with a bad report,
before the report it never really diped, after the report it tanked
and the same Co. bought back stock at a much cheaper price..like
they SHORT SOLD THEY'R OWN STOCK, after seeing that I became a real
sceptic about all news..and I know many that pay people to hype their
stuff, and so on.
SO get a market report, and read all the SEC,
filings, know the avg volume, the float, the book value, the grow
rate , the p/e stick with stocks 3 years old..if the p/e is over half the grow rate skip them, or short them..if a stock has jumped up and you chase it "look out" you better be fast if you want to do momentum
buying, with all this don't fool with stocks that don't have options
and know what$ and how the optins are moving..it's a lot of work,
and it's your money to lose if you don't, keep in mind most little
investors lose money..and that's a fact. The ones looking to slice
off a hunk of fat get hooked the most..you hear about the winners,
and all much more than you do about the losers.
If BMG has jumped to 9 since 7/15..no way I would buy it at this time
she might get on up, but a lot of profit taking is likly to make that
a slow climb, for some time. I do look at insider reports and have
not seen any buying on her, and if she has made some fantastic
discovery, u can bet there would be insider buying before the news
got out. Maybe there is and I missed it, agine right now I have to much ground to cover to dig into BMG..and make anything like fair guess. So don't let me discorage you on her, I'm just saying dig,
dig, dig..
jim
