You may have set a new SI record for the most green-eyed envy in one post.

WTH business of yours is the status of Puerto Rico, anyway? You're Canadian. You plan on taking it from the US?

And the best land always goes to the richest people
Yeah, It's called "capitalism". Things are allocated on a money basis. With socialism, they're allocated on a political-influence basis. Or did you think Castro gets the same medical care as the average Cuban? Maybe you ought to try some capitalism up there. You might actually be able to make something of the 2nd-largest country in the world that has to be practically drowning in natural resources. Sure beats the bitterness of envy that comes from being about 10th best when you should be at the top.

They are independent but a dependency of the UK (if that makes any sense)!
You mean like the Falklands, Gibraltar, British Virgin Islands, British Indian Ocean Territory (which includes Diego Garcia), Anguilla, Bermuda, the Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey), Isle of Man, Montserrat, Pitcairn Island, St. Helena, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and Turks and Caicos Islands? (All dependencies; independence varies.)

But I saw tremendous wealth there. I wonder what country the Land Owners were from?
Since you appear to be unaware of it, the US has no law against Americans owning land in a foreign country. Plenty of foreign countries DO have laws barring foreigners from owning land in their countries, though.

And what is it the Caymans do besides fantastic tourism. Money laundering, isn't it?!
Ask zonder. The Swiss and Mona-somethings perform that service for Europe.

The Americans should buy Puerto Rico
Why would we do that? We already have it, silly! Spoils of war.

Hey, if you're that envious of Americans, why not move down here? Lots of Canadians have.
