I have to tell you, I like Clinton a lot more now than I did when he was president. He makes a much better ex-president than he does president. This article doesn't characterize his remarks exactly as I understood them.

Still, he is greasing the skids for Hill's run for the presidency; once a politician, always one.

Of course, someone should have pointed out to him that the city DID have busses lined up. Parked, in a parking lot that would soon be 10 feet deep in water.

One good thing about history is that politics tends to drop out as background noise after a few years leaving the facts.
