An RX is one of the sexiest box in the market.

Small cars have indeed less iron around you to be crushed but they are engineered to use that energy to crush it and avoid injury to passengers. It looks damn bad after a crash, but it protects the passengers.

On a frontal collision, its engines are transversal, (perpendicular to the chassis) will not hit the passengers' knees like older designs, but goes under the car and presses the iron aiganst the ground. So that the passengers comparment 'climbs' on top of it.

Of course it no difference at 120Km/h but a lower speed collisions it improves survivability.
