One thing I haven't figured out is that perhaps that $GOLD chart on Stockcharts is not where we should be looking at the waves for proper analysis. The December gold futes for instance have not made a new high yet and could still turn back down here making the impulse off the late November high a valid (1). But it would have to be now and hard, and I somehow doubt it will.
