I never have figured out why you Canadians stay up there"

It has to do with a Byng Crosby song.

"we might buy that ice sheet called Canada! :-)"

Clear the ice, warm it up, and we'll talk about it. :-)

Diamonds, wood, gas, water, and hydro! You were certainly be getting started! Just watch for the white bears. They use grizzlys to stuff peppers with.
They who? No self respecting pepper would grow in that cold!

"We already got it!"

My understandin is they can vote themselves independent at will!

You notice how willing they are to do that?

"We'll just walk away and all their problems are strictly theirs."

Naw. They gotta learn American ways. Without principles...where are ya? Huh?!

Elected? :-)

"So what's the problem with them owning land in the Caymans?"

They are only allowed to own land in Topeka. Is Topeka in the Caribbean? I don't think so...:-)

We'll buy wherever they'll sell!

"Two? You think the US didn't have thousands of fighters and bombers in European airspace? And didn't control US airspace?"

THREE?

You're guessing. Either didn't happen or ain't happened yet.

Canada had 185 ACES in WW1. Two dozen of them shot down more than 20 planes. The U.S, had 121 aces. And TWO of them had over 20 hits.
How many aviators did you have? How long were you in? It stands to reason the longer you were in, the more pilots would exceed any given number.

But I don't doubt that you were up there flying over your airspace as you claimed!
Damn straight! And don't forget it!

Seriously--don't take this seriously, ok! I saw what you could do on the ground when you fought the bloodiest war in all of history--THE CIVIL WAR.
About 200,000 total dead both sides.
va.gov
About 7% of the 2 armies.
Now the Soviets CLAIM to have lost 25M in WW2, so I'm not sure that's true (of course, that Soviet claim has been questioned too). Percentagewise, it may be true.
That one was bloody. It's been called the first modern war. They had primitive forms of many of the weapons currently used, but had little defense against them. And the Union had lousy generals. (Not as bad as the Brits and French dug up for WW1, though.)

So I'll pass on meeting Bubba in a trench with a pint of Jim Beam and a bag of powder. Thanks, but no thanks!

I'll stay in the plane where we are sooooooo good! :-)

OK. We'll have the USAF meet the Canadian AF at the border and see who wins. :-)
