I gamble a bit. In gambling games, the odds flow from the rules. Somebody has to make the rules. So who makes the rules?! Not the girl asking you to repeat how many creams you wanted in your coffee...

I'll put it another way. Society is patterned on the sting. It is presumed on the unfair advantage. It doesn't matter whether it is kings and peasants/serfs or whether it is lawyers judges, MP's versus the people who pay the taxes and do the real work.

Here is the scam: Heads or tails? Heads, I pay you $1.00. Tails, you pay me $1.01. Now we can work this scam a million ways. We can write up 361 pages of legal code to make sure that penny stands...or we can do it out in the open and put flashing lights, lots of noise, and a spinning wheel. But we ARE going to F--K you either way.

But we will F--k Horatio Alger first. Everybody else can stand in line. And at the end of it you'll ask us to forgive you and you will leave your last 10 cents as a tithe. Believe it--you will.

Crazy little joking skit. I probably shouldn't have told it! But what the Hell! :-)

There is a big moral difference between a Sheik living on the west end of Vegas and one of the richest in the world...and some business person who has lost his home because somebody cut off his supply of poodles. They both deserved what they got. The Sheik earned it by looking at the moon. And the restaurant business is notoriously risky.

They are probably both going to get depressed and want either girls or drugs. And they will probably both find a way to get them.

But nobody EVER gets ahead at a dollar for a dollar. Just ask ANY casino! AND THAT SIMPLE SENTENCE IS THE ENTIRE CODE...
