Did you bother to read all about DvdX....

The Dvdx player...reads Dvdx format, Dvd format, and CD audio Format.

Now the player has to be pluged into a phone line...because a Dvdx contains only a two day viewing period and costs $5.00 for the suggested rental. If you want to watch beyond the two day period or purchase the disc you must set up an account with Dvdx, and buy it via the telephone connection.

Now your standard DVD won't read a Dvdx because it's encrypted.

Now you might be confused but I'm not....I'm not gonna RENT nothing from anybody.

Disney had no problem selling their VCR tapes in the past. If they're gonna try to rent them to me in the future, and chrage me and my family to view it on demand. Then they can take Dvdx Disc, Player, Phone Connection and stick it in a place Where The Sun Don't Shine.
