It's not political parties, it's people. As I said Reagen and Bush 1 both raised taxes because they had to, to tackle the deficit. It's the "conservative" thing to do... you don't get out of a mess by piling on to the federal credit card. EVERY DIME we borrow now HAS TO be paid back by US, with interest.

You are right that you have to balance taxation and spending.... it's called a balanced budget. It was done under the Clinton Admin/Republican Congress. It's not VooDoo, it's common sense.

PS Common sense isn't lowering taxes during a war that costs $100Billion+ a year, that's neo-sense, and the neo's care nothing about economics.
