John, US pro capita national debt is still 20% below Germany and 55% below Japan. No reason to panic as yet, buddy.

Sure, I know you didn't invent "vodoo economics" and who did but I also know that two of the prime candidates for the Greenspan job come right out of that camp thus called by you and yet another genius.

The fact is that a general state of over taxation in the very most cases eventually leads to situations like in Germany.

That's why OECD for years now have strongly recommended that a country like Denmark better hurry up to fix that problem while business is good and they cann still afford it with no radical experiments.

Germany missed that opportunity under Kohl and now is fund strapped to fix their over taxation problem because a lack of positive cash flow to finance the short term effects of drastically lowering the taxes.

Well, if a matter of life and death, I would even leave the special taxation of the "very rich" only to keep people like you quiet.
As for the tax revenues that hardly has any effect at all.

Unfortunately one may say, the USA doesn't really need to turn every coin short term.
As for the Iraq war, most politicians and economists like you and me can all agree that the planning and commitment up front was such that it should have been delayed at least until matters were better understood.

Had the French played their role right and in a responsible way in UN, that war would most likely never had taken place. Add the Germans under Schroeder into that pot BTW.

Over taxation is a matter now well understood. How to fix it, however is subject to bitter fighting among the believers in whatever.
But please stop calling those guys names who were the first to discover, that sometimes decreasing taxes can actually increase the tax revenues for the government.
