Neolib, you are right that planning 25 years in advance is a good thing. Building a pipeline to Indian and a nuclear reactor to produce the energy that will go down the pipeline is ridiculous. That will destroy many $billions in capital and waste gas which could be used to better effect in Iran, unless Iranians are already so wealthy and Indians so poor that it's better to ship the gas all the way to India.

Kuwaitis for example don't need a big industrialization process for when the hydrocarbons run out. They are rich and can live off investments in the USA and elsewhere.

Iran wants nuclear bombs. That's the answer to why they want nuclear reactors. It has nothing to do with 25 years from now having work for Iranians.
