New World Terminates La Juliana Option
September 19, 2005
TSX-V Symbol: NW
New World Resource Corp. (“the “Company”) announces that, following a review of the results, announced on September 15, 2005, of its initial drill program on the La Juliana gold prospect in Sonora State, Mexico, it will not make the US$450,000 payment required to maintain its option on the property. New World has delivered notice to Chesapeake Gold Corp. (“Chesapeake”) of its intention to terminate its option agreement with Chesapeake on La Juliana.
Future Activities
The Company has an option agreement with exploration geologist Jim McFaull to acquire a 100% interest in 20 quartz mining claims in the Klondike region of the Yukon Territory. The Company is awaiting results from initial exploration drilling on the claims, and will report those results when they are available.
The Company has approximately $1,400,000 in treasury, and a strong geological team and infrastructure. New project generation has been a priority over the last six months and confidentiality agreements have been signed with major industry contacts. The Company’s geological team is presently assessing a short list of projects that meet its criteria and have the potential to advance the Company’s goal of becoming a multi-project mining exploration company, focused on the Americas.
