Mr. John Lando reports

NEW WORLD TERMINATES LA JULIANA OPTION

New World Resource Corp., following a review of the results announced in Stockwatch on Sept. 15, 2005, of its initial drill program on the La Juliana gold prospect in Sonora state, Mexico, will not make the $450,000 (U.S.) payment required to maintain its option on the property. New World has delivered notice to Chesapeake Gold Corp. of its intention to terminate its option agreement with Chesapeake on La Juliana.

Future activities

The company has an option agreement with exploration geologist Jim McFaull to acquire a 100-per-cent interest in 20 quartz mining claims in the Klondike region of Yukon. The company is awaiting results from initial exploration drilling on the claims, and will report those results when they are available.
