I reserve the term for use in two circumstances: (a) Straight retaliation (the instant case) and (b) a total lack of analytical ability or even the rational thought process we often refer to as common sense (the case with tejek).

I do find that (b) above often applies to JF as well.

Your complaint notwithstanding, I do sometimes find the term to be very descriptive and don't hesitate to use it when appropriate. As to someone assailing ME with the term, I have a thick skin.
