Indeed. And the event --rather, the blunder-- that could trigger widespread upheavals throughout the US will probably be a US military excursion in either Latin America or Africa... Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo have outraged many Americans but then, they couldn't identify with Arab Muslims --only 2.4 million Arab-Americans live in the US. However, when US opinion, especially the 40 million Hispanics and 37 million blacks, will watch their brethren tortured, abused, and killed in some African or Latin American death camp by US white soldiers, we'll see a violent backlash on the "home front"... So the $60,000 question is, are US policymakers damfool enough to, say, invade and force "regime change" upon Venezuela?
