re: Over taxation is a matter now well understood.

Is under taxation as well "understood"?

We discussed "Vodoo Economics" and in particular over- versus undertaxation and how it may affect an economy.
My reply addressed precisely that by bringing in Ireland and Estonia as real life examples how what you call "under taxation" (anything below 50%, right?) could possibly work.

The fact is that the Ireland economy is booming and buzzing way over average anywhere in Western Europe. Consequently they even have problems filling many vacant positions and were thus one of the few "old" EU countries opening the doors for the new East European members to free employment as opposed to Germany, France and others.

Amazingly to you guys all of that builds on a way too low and - so the Chiracs and Schroeders of the EU - "unfairly low" taxation.

A lot of US and others have relocated there for good reason, guess why. To give a few examples, Apple employs 1,500 people just in their call center in Cork and United entertains a large call center in Dublin. Salaries are low but so are the taxes and everything a man needs comes real cheap.
Add to that some of the greatest beer on Earth...

So much for our subject, which was "Understanding Under Taxation".

So now you tell me, what does that have to do with Bush Jr.'s war in Iraq? Can't you just for once stay with the subject - and answer the question!
