Program Expands with Broadband VoIP Enabler to Deliver MobileVoIP Solutions
BridgePort Networks, a leader in MobileVoIP convergence announced today that Net2Phone, a leading Voice over IP (VoIP) enabler for service providers, has joined the MobileIGNITE Program. Net2Phone will work together with existing members of the MobileIGNITE program to ensure interoperability between BridgePort Networks' NomadicONE Network Convergence Gateway (NCG) and Net2Phone's VoIP services.
Established in early 2005, the MobileIGNITE Program was created to bring together leading MobileVoIP companies to accelerate the time to market of MobileVoIP convergence solutions. The members of the MobileIGNITE Program are committed to providing end-to-end solutions for service providers that are based on open standards, interoperability and provide a path to IMS.
Participation in the MobileIGNITE Program supports Net2Phone's strategy to offer value-added VoIP solutions to service providers. Delivering VoIP/cellular interoperability further extends the mobility and flexibility of VoIP.
