The solution to your conundrum is appropriate taxation... that is taxation that matches government spending. When you spend $300Billion on a war, you tax $300Billion to pay for it. When you lower spending, you lower taxes... "pay as you go". Very conservative.

Who, exactly, do you think is going to pay the $300Billion, and it's interest? Just answer the question.
