One of my "favs", VSGM, got whacked when it dropped an ongoing trial a couple of weeks ago. Been following this company for 4 years and have some familiarity with its technology so did a bit of digging. That little "dig" suggests to me that the cancellation of this trial was based on some "questionable" (and I am being as polite as possible here) assumptions by the chairman of the independent efficacy committee.

The much larger trial being conducted by the company (for congestive heart failure) is approaching its completion and my research efforts lead me to believe that the results will be solid. With the stock having been thumped fairly aggressively, methinks it might experience a nice "retracement" if the results are as good as I expect them to be .

Old Earlie thinks it might merit "prodding the road-kill carcass" (for signs of a pulse) for those who are a bit speculative by nature. (g)

Best, Earlie
