I still hold with Jefferson that gun ownership is a right. If gun ownership is a right, don't you actually have to do something or be something with insufficient judgement capabilities (like a kid) to have that right revoked? Exactly WHAT did J6P with no criminal record do such that you, Mr. Gov't, have the right to deny him his rights? If you accept Jefferson's premise (that gov't would have to be overthrown every 20-30 years to keep it democratic), HOW can you deny honest citizenry the right to bear arms? Yeah. NYC. There's a GOOD example. Nice quiet town with no murders, no drug dealers, no criminals, right?
