The whole global warming discussion is a bit dreamlike.

The biggest contributor to global warming is excess carbon dioxide. That debate is over, IMO. The problem is not characterizing rational people who look dispassionately at the data as kooks. Politics--on either side of the divide--and science don't mix and shouldn't be mixed.

Excess CO2 has been accumulating since the Industrial Revolution began. Processing excess CO2 out of the atmosphere naturally so that it becomes a solid takes literally decades and perhaps as much as a century.

Excess CO2 has been on a hockey stick rise since the 1960s and is now out of control. It will take almost a century to process it.

Unless we figure out a technological way to capture CO2 into a solid very quickly and very effectively and on a massive scale, we could stop all industrial and natural processes which emit CO2 to zero levels and it would not make any difference for a very, very long time.

Find a company that has figured out how to take CO2 out of the atmosphere quickly and on a massive scale, invest in it, and your QCOM investment will seem paltry by comparison.
