There is a critical flaw in your logic. It is common among republicans. You use Bin Laden and 9/11 to justify all your actions. You ignore the fact that Saddam was no threat to us, and not connected to 9/11 or Bin Laden. He would have been easily watched and squeezed. It's all about you isn't it Thomas? As long as you can still walk the earth unharmed the cost of that protection has no meaning. The only solution you can imagine to the big bad Saddam threat is to pave the country and rebuild. Damn the cost in pain and suffering and dollars. By acting more cautiously, with clarity and unwavering purpose, we could have shown the world the true goodness of America, There was another path we could have chosen. Instead we chose to act out of fear and ignorance and we are and will pay for those choices for many, many years. jb
