Astrom has recently been named President of EGCM, Emerging Creative Media, and Director of New Screen Broadcasting, WRCF-TV Channel 29 Orlando. Mr. Astrom was selected for his forward thinking and aggressive approach to reprogramming the medium of broadcast television. Orlando is close to Mr. Astrom's original roots in Ocala, Florida. Mr. Astrom returns to Florida after nine years away. In that time Mr. Astrom has spent the last five years in New York City where he received a Masters in Photography and Related Media at the School of Visual Arts. Mr. Astrom has also laid the groundwork for a career in the arts as a fine art photographer and cinematographer with work in public collections such as the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Division of Art, Prints and Photographs at the New York Public Library and numerous private collections. Mr. Astrom graduated from Gettysburg College, in Gettysburg, PA: with a BA in Economics and Studio Arts. Mr. Astrom remains single and resides in both Orlando and New York City.
