Remember Democracy doesn't cure all ills. It took 100 years of Democracy for the USA to free slaves. 125 years after Democracy there were the glorious Indian wars where the noble military slaughtered women and children in a USA style ethnic cleansing. Lynching occurred in the democratic southern USA until just a few decades ago. You watch - Iraq will be a mess for years and will do the USA no damn good at all.
