Didn't think anything about it ... . There was an unmarked police car at the curb last Sunday.... A grandson and I were loading my car sitting in the driveway... We loaded about 12 items, like rifles in cases, a boxed spotting scope, shooting mats, folding seats, 4 or 5 miscellaneous items.... We were headed for a North Texas high-power shooting match.... As we were getting into the car and about to leave, this big guy in a Stetson, cowboy boots, (looked like Clint Eastwood in a modern movie) got out of the unmarked police car and walked up as I was opening my door... " Sir, stand right there ! " I froze.... Turns out, he thought it might be a "theft" he'd just been witnessing....He was a Texas Ranger.... Sure hope he's around if I someday really need him !! walked up,
