Hi Bro,

This news coverage is awesome.It took 7 hours tp make a normal 1 hour ride.

There is a mass exodus out of Galveston to down town Houston.

We are 70-100 miles inland and they are telling us to brace for 100 MPH winds and horizontal rain.

I'm going into work in the morning and taking all the new vehicles inside under roof and then going home to man the towel and bucket brigade while wearing whatever is the best protection from broken glass as it may get ugly.

Hunker down with the cats and my gas stash,generaotor,chain saw,and a good stash of flash lights,wine and cold beer.

I have great neighbors and we'll look out for eachother if in need.

Many of my employees where gone today as they had parents or relatives to evacuate from the low flat lands of Houston.

This is very tenuous and yet exciting as we await the storm - it is a creepy quiet still night.

I noticed going to work today that many of the birds are gone - they know sumpthns happnin.

My biggest fear is slow movement over land and huge rain fall - that at a 1 in a 1000 years will flood me out.gulp

Oh well worry about the things you can control.

I did pick up a total of 10,000 at 38,39,40 and 41 (2500 each).

Now I just hope my DSL holds up as it will be a long weekend.GG

I'm hoping to put my 401K into Russell 2000 somewhere at the 433ish (pulled out at 470ish went to cash and bonds)
