President Bush was given a mandate to appoint conservative judges. The un-Constitutional behavior of Democrats in the Senate was one of the major election issues. It helped the good people of North Dakota allow Tom Daschle retire while he still had the energy to completely sell out to lobbying firms.

President Bush must appoint the type of socially conservative judge that his supporters elected him for, or risk losing their support.
