I'm anything but a winger Karen and if the Demos weren't so damn incompetent I wouldn't have voted for him. Coming off the prosperity of Clinton the Democrats had to lose in order to lose and they did. After 4 years of Bush they could have retaken with anyone remotely moderate because many, myself included were not impressed with GW. Instead they nominate some old guard ultra liberal that will only work on the 2 coasts. I truly wish the demo's would get their shit it one sock. I like the 2 party system. I think some gridlock is a good thing.

But the damn demos continue to allow Sheehan and Moore to set the tone and convince the majority of the country that the party is that far left. That far left doesn't even play well with many democrats. It will continue to cost them seats I'm afraid and I'm really not all that thrilled by that.
