re: These evacuations are just not working very well. For them not be so problematical, people need to start leaving at least a week ahead of time and they need to do them in stages. And that's impossible, because a week ago this storm was a TD in the Caribbean. Even now, Houston may get nothing but heavy rain... and that's why evacuations are such a problem, and are done reluctantly. We're shutting down the countries, what?, 6th largest city? Is it for no reason? Will they evacuate the next time after sitting in traffic for 12 hours this time? John
