So what you are saying is that nobody in the world has just stayed at home and taken Tamiflu, so nobody knows if it will help in that situation. Chances are extremely high that if you get bird flu during a pandemic, that is exactly where you will be -- home. The hospitals will be full, so no oxygen tent, no IV fluids, no ventilators. Your only recourse, if you thought ahead like you did, will be to take Tamiflu.

You have good reason to believe Tamiflu will help (based on what I read in your other post), but as I said, nobody on the planet has tried that exclusive remedy yet so nobody knows scientifically it will help or how much it will help. Regardless, I agree it might help and that it is about the only thing out there to try should one contract the virus.
