I think the other thing is, Cruise specifically attacked Brooke Shields, right after which the women's magazines at the newstands have Brooke on the cover and a tagline slamming Cruise. Oops. Condi has the president's back. She's a real asset for him, and she's brilliant. I don't happen to like her, though, but she didn't get where she is because of AA, that's for certain.
