I see this morning on Sky (UK) TV that the UK authorities have detained a suspected terrorist at Manchester airport and closed the airport. This major "news" event took precedence even over typhoon Rita which is hours away from possibly destroying the US' economy.

Here's another major event. This is the kind of news the main stream media specialises in.
