good morning rose~

that's interesting about the
changing beach at your friend's land.

just recently, we saw an episode
of Great Canadian Parks.. that series
with Peter Trueman.

they did Kejimkujik Park in N.S.
and part of it was about the
seaside adjunct park which lies south
of Lunenburg and north of Cape Sable Island
and The Hawk.
One of the park superintendents said
that the whole coastline is in constant flux
and the sand dunes and beaches change
wildly from year to year.

pretty awesome.

and changing the subject a little...
i just looked out the window a minute ago
and there was a big hawk sitting on
a tree branch about 12 feet away from
where I'm sitting.
i didn't get a great look at it,
but it looked like it might be one of
the larger falcons.
always interesting to see what turns
up in the yard at this time of the
year when migration is underway.
