I shouldn't have used the word scam as they seem to be making a sincere effort to commercialize Sonocracking and I apologize for that. However, I would suggest that the same results can be achieved through Visbreaking which is mild thermal cracking. Visbreaking is a fairly inexpensive process since the crude already must be heated almost to Visbreaking temperature in order to distill it. It seems doubtful that Soncracking/CrudeStilling would be more economical than Visbreaking/CrudeStilling. But you never know.
