You keep adding this extra layer of taxation then claim you do not support multiple layers of taxation. If I earned the money, it is mine to do with what I please. Any taxation of my distribution of my money is an additional layer of taxation. Please stop insulting everyone's intelligence.

What is the difference between me giving my wife a million dollars of allowance per month, and my estate distributing her a million dollars of principle per month? None. What is the difference between me giving my children an allowance and giving them an inheritance? None. What is the difference between a sole proprietorship distributing capital and selling capital corporate stock? None.

If death is a taxable event, then how about sickness? Every time anyone gets sick enough to have to go to the hospital, their assets should be taxed. <sarcasm>(After all hospitalization is a drain on society just like death is.) If we like hat, then we can tax assets if someone gets the sniffles. It is just economic Darwinism! The sick deserve to have everything taken away. </sarcasm>

You claim to support a flat tax, but then define income to include many non income events. Your claim is smoke and mirrors.
