It was very favorable, although it focused mostly on McGinnis, rather than on CCSC. The article discussed the management style that he developed at CCSC, holding monthly meetings with execs from engineering, manufacturing & sales, so that they could discuss new ideas. He has tied salaries to exec performance (incentive-based), and it has worked quite well. He joined CCSC in 1988, when the company was a struggling maker of analog telephone equipment. He realized that teamwork would be the method of success, rather than trying to do everything himself. He invites any employee to offer ideas. This open discussion every month with the heads of the various divisions has improved efficiency and the company's overall business.
