September 11, 1997 Encouraging Results Continue From Goddell Shear ARKONA RESOURCES INC ("AKA-V;AKORF-L") - Encouraging Results Continue From Goddell Shear Mark Aplas, President of Arkona Resources Inc., reports that Phase Two of the staged underground drill program at the Goddell Shear is now complete. The latest drill results have increased the strike length an additional 300 feet to the east. The strike length of the Goddell shear is now over 1100 feet and is still open to the east, west and to depth.
