Read the thread header. Then read it again in case you missed the part about stock picks not being allowed on this thread and haven't been since the thread started years ago.

I'd suggest if your ego needs reassurance then you go to Elitetrader and start a thread there in the Journals section and post your real time trades. I do 15-20 trades a day and am just not sharp enough to be able to execute the trades and simultaneously post them on some web site to show everyone how well I trade. And some of my trades are losers; imagine that.

Congrats on GOOG. I know plenty of guys in the 90's who hit home runs as big as, or bigger, with stocks like AMZN, DELL, YHOO, and even stocks like MSTR, ITWO. A couple of home runs doesn't make a trader, rather, survival and ongoing profits year in and year out are how I measure successful traders.
