Pulling out before Iraq has a constitution in place and an army that's trained to enable enforcement of that constitution would be doing exactly what the insurgents want and thinking that this will all go away once we pull out of Iraq is just wishful thinking.

I don't care if they have a constitution or not. It's up to the Iraqis to decide if they want a constitution and what it should be like.

As for the Iraqi army...where the hell are they? How many years will it take to train them? From what I can see the the program to put Iraqis in charge of themselves is about 2 years behind schedule. Will another 2 years will do it? Maybe more...because we are constructing several permanent bases in Iraq...and it's not for the Iraqi Army either.
