One would think that common sense would dictate that it would be foolish to toss 50% of your business in the trash.

One would think. But organizations have a identity like people do, and it's hard to make any change that impacts one's self-identification. Ever read Barbara Tuchman's The March of Folly?

Just like Hollywood. After the success of The Passion and now the Emily Rose movie, I cannot understand why I'm not seeing at least one or two openly Christian movies. How about one about early Christians in the late Roman Empire? You could combine Gladiator and The Passion, what a formula! But they can't bring themselves to touch it. When they tried, they brought us Kingdom of Heaven - a Crusades movie stripped of religion, except for the bad guys (Christian, naturally. Gotta show only noble Moslems, don't want trouble with CAIR.).
