Divi adds to revenue, big, hopefully from now on. Separating Divi from Cube Revenues really is a liars game. When Divi sells a headend system, say for 96 channels on 24 transponders, they buy 96 encoders from C-Cube. The encoders are worth about $2,500 each. They then buy workstations, uplink transmition equipment, ect. They sell encoder systems at an advertised price of $25,000 each. They provide the supervision of the installation, and probably will receive service revenue in the future, on their installations. The whole contract is likely to be more than $1.5M up front, allowing for discounts, and more than $2M over 3 years. The Spainish system that was just completed, was announced in June. Cube couldn't have invoiced much for that deal in Q2. They have to book it all this Q.
AViA has started shipping. Cube and Divi worked on it together. I don't know who you want to credit.
Without DVD revenue, they can beat the current consense revenue for the year. |
