[analogy] << "Amati not only will sell cakes and flour but control the price of the flour." >> more accurately, "Amati will not only bake and sell (the best) cakes, but will also get a percentage on all sales of flour." the baking analogy is useful also for answering the question, "Once WSTL has CopperGold, won't their DMT modems be just as good as Amati's?" a lot more goes into an ADSL modem than just the core chips, just as baking is more than just using the best flour. mark
