Yes, and COS has returned the value of a farm (though a small one, and in I am not sure what jurisdiction:0) to me, although I have neither transformed the gain into an actual farm, nor solidified the winnings into gold. It is now simply a much bigger allocation to that original oil sand.
Having had good experience with DeerCreek, now I am accumulating the more exotic stuff, Opti Canada, PetroBank, Connarcher.
I still remember our SI discussion about our worries on running out of sure things to wager on after gold, and that was atleast 30 months ago!
It would seem we have the answers, and all along, them being gas, oil, coal, uranium, sand, and ... dear me, gold :0)

On real estate, must be peaking, although should everyone be able to extract their equity in entirety, that would be alot of moolah needing to be placed, somewhere, anywhere.
Of course we have no worries, as most folks are not going to extract most of their equity to cash space, and simply send the un-solidified gains to money heaven instead.
Panic is rational, especially if done early :0)
