so, let me tell you about my day.
five o'clock this morning, i woke up and
went downstairs and took a gander at the
sky.
well! great, or what?
beautiful cresent moon and brilliant stars.
i just had a feeling that the day would be
great.
it was.
bright and sunny and warm, and we all took
off to north beach.
i've got pictures to show, but i'm having some
difficulty in remembering how i did it last
time, so you'll just have to trust me.
the agates were there for the picking.
they seem to say "come and pick me uuuuuup"
it was incredible - you'd reach down for one
and there in front of you was another, and
another, and another.
but then - i saw the scallops. and then
another, and then another.
anyway, i stopped looking for agates and
concentrated on scallops.
to make a long story short, we came home with
a 20 scallops (a kilo after i cleaned them)
- pictures coming if i remember how and 30
pounds of agates.
