Did you ever see the movie Cold Mountain?

I didn't expect to like it.
Thought it was a "chick-flick".

Renée Zellweger was so good in it.
(I never really cared for her.)
I think she might have won an oscar in this role?

It takes place during the Civil War and sort of
gives an idea of what it was like for those who
remained home.

I never heard of him before but Anthony Minghella
is a really good director.
