I hope he's right, but, as you know, Osama Bin Laden has shown himself to be an extremely cunning fellow. Invading Iraq played into OBL's hands in terms of helping to bolster Al Qaeda's ranks. And so I think it is too soon to declare that his stated goal of causing a civil war to happen in Iraq has failed.
