I'm not saying it is dumb... But he's asking you to curb consumption, while planning to give his energy company friends a break... Why can't we have a break... Oh I forgot, I can't afford to pay a lobbyist millions of dollars to repesent my interests like Haliburton or Exxon can. Why not give a tax concession to people who use less energy?
