That article is at least a couple years old. For further reading about the center google "David Thorpe" Tucson Aventis--a few regional newspaper articles turn up, etc. Adding Sanofi-Aventis did not turn up much, they don't seem to have a website.
In any event, I did decide to do a search for "lead identification" "diversity oriented synthesis" together, and that turns up a handful of articles I've not seen...so I have my reading for the afternoon.
